This Isn’t a Consultancy–It’s a Co-Lab.
I didn’t set out to build a business; I set out to build something that could hold more possibility.
Possibility for clearer communication.
Possibility for sustainable teams.
Possibility for work that feels meaningful and manageable.
For the past decade, I’ve supported over 200 communities, teams, survivors, first responders, educators, nonprofit leaders, and people doing life-changing work, often under impossible pressure.
I’m not a clinician. I’m a peer. A responder.
Someone who has shown up again and again when systems didn’t.
Someone who has listened, built trust, and helped create space when there wasn’t any.
And through it all, I kept seeing the same pattern:
Brilliant people doing essential work… trying to hold it all together with systems that were never designed to support them.
And I thought:
There has to be a better way.
That’s why I built JG Co-Laboratory.
Not just to offer strategy.
But to co-create spaces, systems, and cultures that hold both structure and soul.
So… what is a Co-Laboratory?
It’s not just a consulting firm.
It’s not just a workbook download.
It’s a space to reimagine how we lead, care, and build together.
Co-Lab means we collaborate. We co-design solutions grounded in what’s real, not just what looks good in a deck.
It’s for the people who say:
“We’re doing good work, but we’re barely holding it together.”
“I want to support my team, but I’m also running on fumes.”
“There’s no time to slow down—but we can’t keep going like this either.”
This isn’t about adding more.
It’s about building better, with intention, flexibility, and care.
What we’re building here
I’ve seen what happens when people are given the tools, trust, and space to lead with clarity and care.
Teams start breathing again.
People reconnect with why they started doing this work in the first place.
Mission and culture stop competing—and start reinforcing each other.
That’s what this Co-Lab is about.
It’s a place for people who know there’s a more human way to lead—and are ready to build it.
Our work is structured into three Labs, each focused on a core element of emotionally sustainable leadership:
🧪 The Infrastructure Lab
Where operational clarity meets emotional sustainability.
This Lab supports teams with:
Workflow design that prevents burnout
Meeting structures that reduce chaos
Decision-making systems that people use
“What if our workflows took care of people, too?”
🎨 The Healing Lab
Where art, ritual, and structure meet.
This Lab offers creative frameworks for:
Collective processing and grief rituals
Healing-centered programs for communities
Trauma-informed facilitation and design
We help teams hold what systems can’t—grief, growth, and complexity—through non-clinical, deeply human structures of support.
🤝 The Connection Lab
Where care becomes culture.
This Lab focuses on:
Peer-based models of support
Storytelling with boundaries
Leadership grounded in belonging
It’s not just about getting people in the room.
It’s about designing connection that lasts.
Why I’m starting here–with you
This is the first time I’m stepping forward publicly with my own work.
For years, I’ve been behind the scenes, supporting programs, responding to crises, and building systems for others.
Now, I’m ready to share what I’ve been building quietly and invite others to help shape what comes next.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to want something better.
This marks the beginning of something I believe many of us have been waiting for.
Just good work. Rooted in care. Built together.
Want to stay close to the work?

I’d love to hear what you’re building and what you’re tired of carrying alone.
